Compliance-Ready
Data Management

For pharmaceutical R&D facilities, aerospace manufacturing units, and Commercial Calibration Labs that operate under stringent regulatory frameworks, our RS 232 communication interface enables seamless IoT integration with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

The Inbuilt Data Logging System records operational status every 30 seconds, creating comprehensive audit trails that satisfy Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation requirements and facilitate root cause analysis during quality investigations.

Industry-Specific Applications
and Compliance Standards

The true measure of any recirculating chiller manufacturer in India lies not merely in technical specifications but in solving real-world challenges faced by researchers and manufacturers daily.

Our systems have become integral to materials science research at IITs where X-ray Diffraction (XRD) equipment requires uninterrupted cooling to maintain the thermal stability of X-ray tubes and detectors, preventing baseline drift during lengthy diffraction pattern acquisitions.

Government Research Centres investigating advanced materials for defence and aerospace applications rely on our chillers to stabilise Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), where even fractional degree temperature variations cause specimen stage drift that degrades high-magnification imaging resolution.

Research institutions conducting proteomics and genomics studies utilise our temperature control systems for mass spectrometry instruments and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) equipment, maintaining ion source temperatures that ensure reproducible analytical results.

Commercial Calibration Labs accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 standards employ Hexon chillers to create controlled thermal environments for precision measurement equipment, maintaining calibration uncertainties within accreditation scope requirements.

The pharmaceutical industry utilises our systems for cooling High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) column ovens, X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometers, and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) equipment, where temperature consistency directly impacts analytical reproducibility, a non-negotiable requirement for method validation and stability studies submitted to regulatory authorities.

In industrial manufacturing, our chillers prevent thermal expansion errors in Portable Deep Drill EDM machines, enabling manufacturers to achieve positional accuracies below 0.01mm when drilling complex cooling channels in turbine blades and injection mould cores.

The chemical processing industry employs our Modular Water Recirculating Chillers for Glass Reactors, Rotary Evaporators, distillation column condensers, and crystallisation vessels where precise temperature control determines product yield and purity levels.

Metal fabrication shops integrate our systems with Laser Cutting equipment and CNC machining centres to manage cutting fluid temperatures, extending tool life and improving surface finish characteristics on aerospace-grade alloys and hardened steels.

Why Choose Hexon as Your OEM Partner

Our Navi Mumbai manufacturing facility represents complete vertical integration, from sheet metal fabrication and powder coating to final assembly and performance validation, granting us flexibility impossible for companies dependent on third-party suppliers.
This in-house capability translates to Custom OEM designs that accommodate non-standard voltage requirements (from 110V single-phase to 415V three-phase configurations), compatibility with specialised heat transfer fluids including ethylene glycol mixtures for sub-zero operation, and modified footprints that fit within existing equipment layouts without requiring facility modifications.

Global Export Excellence and
Technical Superiority

Established in 2021, Hexon Instruments operates from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai’s MIDC Industrial Area. We design and manufacture precision laboratory equipment that meets global research and industrial quality standards.

Our shaker incubator range represents the evolution of our core expertise in thermal control and precision motion, now integrated into complete mixing and incubation platforms built for India’s expanding biotech, pharmaceutical, and industrial testing sectors.

With Indian laboratories increasingly seeking equipment that spans multiple temperature-dependent workflows without relying on imported instruments, Hexon provides import substitution solutions that deliver international quality at competitive pricing, backed by local engineering support and rapid service response.

Frequently Asked Question

Trusted in more than 100 countries and 4 million customers.

A water recirculating chiller is a closed-loop cooling system that circulates chilled water (or water-glycol mixture) through equipment to remove heat and maintain a stable temperature.
Ethylene glycol or propylene glycol helps prevent freezing, reduce corrosion, and improve reliability. Typical concentration is 20–30% above 0°C and 30–40% below 0°C.
Possible causes include dirty condenser, insufficient refrigerant, high ambient temperature, compressor malfunction, excessive heat load, or low water flow.
Common reasons are HP/LP switch activation, low water flow, frozen evaporator, electrical issues, or faulty sensors.
Every 3–4 months for Distilled water and every 6–12 months for glycol mixtures, or sooner if contaminated.
Daily checks of temperature, water level, and alarms; monthly condenser cleaning and pump inspection; quarterly filter replacement and safety checks.
HP switch, LP switch, anti-freeze thermostat, overload protection, phase protection, low water level switch, and flow switch.

Low flow can result in:

  • Evaporator freezing
  • Low-pressure trips
  • Reduced Cooling Capacity
  • Uneven temperature control

The pump should provide:

  • Required flow rate (LPM)
  • Required head (mWC)
  • Continuous-duty operation

Both flow and head must be considered during pump selection.

Undersized piping causes:

  • High pressure drop
  • Reduced flow rate
  • Increased pump load

Oversized piping increases cost and water volume without significant benefit.

Yes. A flow switch protects the evaporator by ensuring adequate water circulation before the compressor starts and while it is running.

Possible causes:

  • Air trapped in the system
  • Low water level
  • Cavitation
  • Worn bearings
  • Blocked inlet strainer/ filter .

Possible reasons:

  • Worn vanes
  • Blocked filter
  • Air ingress
  • Low motor speed
  • Dry running
  • Dirty water
  • Cavitation
  • Incorrect rotation
  • Overpressure operation
  • Lack of filtration
  • Excessive glycol contamination
  • Low suction pressure
  • High superheat
  • Poor cooling
  • Longer pull-down time
  • Compressor overheating
